UP BJP candidate list: BJP has released the fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. 13 candidates from UP have been declared in this list. Jitin Prasad has been made the candidate from Pilibhit in place of Varun Gandhi.
BJP has released the fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. 13 candidates from UP have been declared in this list. Varun Gandhi’s ticket has been canceled while his mother Maneka Gandhi continues to have the confidence of top BJP leaders. He has been made the candidate from Sultanpur, while Public Works Minister Jitin Prasad in the UP government has been made the candidate from Pilibhit in place of Varun Gandhi.
Similarly, due to the incident of obscene video going viral, the candidate of Barabanki has been changed. Rajrani Rawat has been made the candidate in place of Upendra Rawat. Dr. Anand Gond, son of the sitting MP from Bahraich Akshayvar Lal Gond, has been made the candidate.
Ghaziabad MP VK Singh’s ticket has been cut and given to Atul Garg. Apart from this, Arun Govil has been made the candidate from Meerut. Tickets were given to Satish Gautam from Aligarh, Sarvesh Singh from Moradabad, Anoop Valmiki from Hathras, Kshatrapal Singh from Bareilly, Raghav Lakhanpal from Saharanpur, Ramesh Awasthi from Kanpur and Durvijay Shakya from Badaun.
